Abstract

The effect of ageing of copper manganese oxide catalysts prepared by co-precipitation is described and discussed. In particular, the ageing leads to a significant decrease in the concentration of surface sodium and this correlates with the catalytic activity for the oxidation of carbon monoxide at the extended ageing time. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
