Abstract

A non-bridge method suitable for linear and nonlinear materials is described. The measurement is permittivity is absolute, avoiding the need for comparison with a standard. It also provides a means of assessing the homogeneity of the material. The current signal from the test cell defects trapped charge effects. The method has been applied to both dielectric materials and nonlinear ZnO ceramics
