Abstract

Plenary: Professor Mark Taubert outlines work undertaken in Wales on Advance and Future Care Planning, and how social media sites such as Twitter helped in defining what is acceptable in the eyes of the public. The topic of dying and serious illness is rife with misunderstandings, and detailed sentiment analyses on Twitter can reveal how to approach this topic sensitively and in a bespoke way.
