Abstract

Space weather research has important implications in our daily lives. Generally, space instruments for this science are expensive to build. This paper proposes the design of a university nano-satellite capable of gathering data based on the synchrotron emission of electrons. The design and verification criteria are presented in a manner that shows how the final design of a CubeSat to carry out this novel mission was derived by the team. Additionally, the final design of the CubeSat is presented together with some of its most important features, such as the scientific instrument.
