Abstract

Women in Arthurian literature have traditionally followed two patterns: they are considered evil or they are thought to be the real cause for the fall of Camelot. These two visions have radically changed in Modern Literature and it is in Bernard Cornwell’s trilogy that these innovations are most obvious, as I intend to demonstrate in this paper.
