Abstract

The Welsh Centre for Learning Disabilities was commissioned to evaluate the GAL initiative. As a part of a wider evaluation of the GAL initiative, this paper sets out an analysis of: 1. the views of professionals involved in the delivery of GAL of its strengths and weaknesses and what it has achieved 2. the extent to which GAL helped more people with learning disabilities to enter paid employment than those without the intervention
